Phone slowed down in operation and seems to freeze

the easiest solution could be to totally shut down your computer. let it reset itself, and power it back up again. If that does not seem to help, then I would clear the cache on your PC. I would also run a scan - see if there are errors.

Do you have alot of games on your PC? Do you download anything free that is offered? Many times that slows a PC way down.

I just had a similar problem with my Samsung Comeback. It was doing the same thing, as well as freezing and being very slow to load. My solution was to remove the battery, and the memory card, reinstall the battery and start it up again. I had to cycle through on/off three or four times before it sped up to normal again.

This seems to have happened because my phone powered down overnight because it needed to be recharged. I recharged it right away, and put my memory card back in. It all seems fine now.

This phone model isn't a very good phone to begin with, I know from experience. Turning it on will take a while for it to start all the way up, that's normal. The more ringtones/videos/pics/music/texts on it, the slower it gets. If you have many of those try deleting some. If you use this phone for browsing or its mp3 player, that will slow it down a lot as well. Also, there is problems with the Instant Messengers on it, they will make your cell slow, freeze or restart when you use them, so try not to have them on if your cell is already really slow. By the way when your cell first turns on, it will be loading your texts and such; just give it some time, pressing buttons will seem slow and may cause the phone to freeze.

Mine was doing the same thing. The newest update (2.2 build frg22d) is part of the problem as it runs very slowly. Several Apps can also cause the freezing and slow down. If you have task killer installed, try uninstalling. I actually run faster without it. Live wallpapers cause a huge slowdown as well.

the problem is u have a lot stored on the pc memory and when this are much it slow down your computer so what u need to do is check your desktop and delet some things u no longer needs or dont open too much pages on your home page this can make your pc slow down ok,thnks .

try a firmware upgrade.

format the phone if not then get a bigger memory card for it :)

hi all viewers `this is a good tip for your nokia 5310. well your phone is freezing cus you have to much memory on the phone the phone has a memory on its self witch is 20 mb. if you fill up like 15-20 mb it will slow your phone down or freezing completely. you can fix this by moving files to a memory card on the phone freeing up space i recommend you store 5-7 mb on phone memory. 100% success if not you have a problem
