1st you have to hold down the little black button on the collar, when it flashes at you release the button.
-Then press the button again and count the # of flashes.
-Keep pressing the button until you get it set to the desired flashes related to the setting you want to use.
-1 flash- audible correction with no shock.
-2 flashes audible correction with low shock.
-3 flashes audible correction with high shock.
It is always recommended to start with the low shock , if using shock setting, then move to higher setting if needed. Most larger dogs require a high shock setting, I have a yellow lab and use the high setting for him. Hope this helps.

download shock wave and install it again. just go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "download shock wave" (without the quotes). You'll see a search result returned that says Get Shockwave Player. It's on the adobe website.
