The source selector on Rotel RA-1060 amp IS STUCK ON TUNER AFTER STATIC ELECTRICITY. I checked the 4 visable fuses in the unit and they checked out ok. I also powered the unit down & unplugged it for an hour. The source selector turns to each source, but the light stays lit on tuner and no other source can be heard. It seems you have a short circuit in your unit. Further attempts at switching it on are not advisable as more damage will occur. Get it checked out by an electrician who can test from the plug for a short circuit.
Using the remote control, push the left arrow until display shows Coax1 (or 2, depending on your setup), then push the up arrow to set it to TV/SAT. Conversely, depending on your setup, you can push the left arrow to display Comp1 (or2) then push the up arrow to set the correct video setting-- DVD/LD I assume.
