I am able to delete a call, but unable to clear mailbox entries. Now incoming callers say my mailbox is full and they are unable to leave a message. Where do these digital messages stored and how do I access. The numbers on the back of the base to my phone are M/N D1660-2 - 10513C - UN244
Re: How to clear a full mailbox on a uniden 6.0 phone
Here is Uniden's online link: http://www.uniden.com/index/home.cfm
Mid page you'll find a spot to look for the owner's manual to your phone.
In the event the book fails to offer any help or "how to" instructions to remedy your problem, and you are still unable to clear your mailbox entries, contact your cell phone provider for tech support. The problem may be on their end.

Do you want to delete entries from the Caller ID list? This records the numbers of the last 50 incoming calls. You can't delete the entire list at once. However, you can delete one entry at a time. Press CID on one handset or base with the entire system in standby (no active calls). The CID button is to the right of the Menu/Select button. Press the Up/Down arrows (above and below Menu/Select) to select one call. Press Menu/Select to get the details of that call. If you don't see list with Delete Entry, Add to PB, and Add Call Block, press Menu/Select again. Select the Delete Entry line and press Menu/Select. Select Yes and then Menu/Select again if prompted to confirm the deletion.
To open the caller ID list, press CALLER-ID/RIGHT (cursor-right on the circular cursor pad).
To open the redial list, press REDIAL/PAUSE.
Use cursor-up/down to select the desired entry and press MENU/SELECT. Select "DELETE ENTRY and press MENU/SELECT. In addition, in the caller ID list you will have the "DELETE ALL" option.
The above are from the "Using the Caller ID and Redial Lists" section of the manual (page 11 in my copy). If you need a manual, you can download one at http://www.uniden.com/content/ebiz/uniden/resources/ownersmanuals/DECT1480-2om.pdf
You can download the manual at http://www.uniden.com/content/ebiz/uniden/resources/ownersmanuals/DECT1363om.pdf
To delete a caller id listing, highlight the entry, press MENU/SELECT, then select "Delete Entry." Full instructions are on page 9. Chain dialing instructions begin on page 11.
Have you tried dialling 1571 to make sure a voicemail isn't cutting in? When somebody calls you if they hear the words "voicemail", "mailbox" or even the word "full" then it is not the Fusion kicking in. Also, if it simply says "calls" then remember this is caller display which is checked by pressing the "up arrow" to view all of your missed calls. The last alternative is another phone on the line.
Assuming this has all been checked....
Press menu/ok, arrow up to answer machine, press menu/ok then menu/ok again so all the messages playback (you can't delete messages you haven't listened to). When they have played out, press the arrow down to 'delete all' and press menu/ok, the display should say "confirm?", press menu/ok. If it is definitely this telephone picking the messages, this will clear it.
Thanks for using FixYa. I think you have stored more than 100 Caller ID messages and hence the caller ID is not showing on Uniden Tru8888.In the following cases the caller ID will not be shown-
If you answer a call before the Caller ID message is received (for example, before the second ring), the Caller ID message will not appear.
When the call is received via a telephone company that does not offer Caller ID service, the caller’s phone number and name does not appear. (This includes some international calls.)
When the call is via a private branch exchange (PBX), the caller's phone number and name may not appear.
You may receive any one of the following messages:
When a private name is received; Private Name
When a private number is received; Private Number
When a unknown name is received; Unknown Name
When a unknown number is received; Unknown Number
When invalid data is received; Incomplete Data
The Caller ID list stores information for incoming calls - even unanswered calls. You can store up to 100 Caller ID messages and phonebook entries (including Speed Dials) for each handset and the base. You can view the Caller ID list through the handset or base during a call or when the phone is in standby mode.
Memory locations for Caller ID messages and Phonebook entries (including Speed Dials) are common, you can store up to all 100 entries for each handset and the base. Caller ID messages are not stored when you have 100 phonebook entries. When you have stored a total of 100 phonebook entries and Caller ID messages, the oldest Caller ID message is overwritten.
