How do I remove the TV stand from a Panasonic 50Px80U?

Do you mean the original pedestal base for the Panasonic TH-50PX50U? The base has two vertical posts that fit into recessed areas in the TV. Then four screws (two per post) secure the TV and base together. To remove the base, place the TV screen down on a solid surface that is covered by a clean soft cloth. Remove the black M5x25 screws and slide the base away from the TV. To store the pedestal more easily, remove the 4 silver M5x18 screws that secure the posts to the base. A Philips head screwdriver is needed. Save all of these parts in case you need to put the pedestal base back on the TV.

See page 7 of the Quick Start instructions here: https://pdf.crutchfieldonline.com/ImageBank/v20090127124100/Manuals/133/13350PX80.PDF .

I hope this helps.

How to remove the base from panasonic TX-37LZD81

Panasonic flat panel televisions are packaged with a small television stand that users can attach to place the television on a flat surface. Some users, after attaching the stand, would prefer to hang the television on a wall instead. If the stand is still attached to the Panasonic TV, you cannot hang the television on the wall. Remove the stand from the TV to hang it on a wall.
Step 1
Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and lay the television, screen down, on a towel. The towel helps prevent damage to the screen. Step 2
Remove the four retaining screws that secure the stand from the bottom of the television using the Phillips screwdriver. Step 3
Slide the stand out of the television. Place the stand and the screws in a safe place in the event you change your mind and decide to set up the television on the stand again. The television is now ready for hanging on a wall.

We were given a panasonic TBL2AX00171 it did not come with the screws to attach the base. If anyone knows the size of the screw we should buy . Thanks.

The TBL2AX00171 is a stand that fits the Panasonic TH-50PZ77U. Using the manual for this model, I find that the posts attach to the television with 4 M5x30 screws. (In the diagram on page 7, they look like pan head screws with a Philips head.) Amazon has the screw listed as Panasonic part THEL079N . The two parts of the base are secured together with M5x16 screws. The direct link to the manual is http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/TH42PZ77U.pdf .

I hope this helps.

I need a Panasonic TV TH-42PD25 base stand! I've searched ebay, no luck. This might sound dumb, but can I use base stands from any of the other Panasonic 42" models?

You maybe lucky, but make sure the mounting holes on the stand matches your TV.
Alternately you can use a wall mounting and these have mounting holes that suit most TVs.

Unscrew the base screws attaching the base to the TV set, once the four screws have been removed, the TV can be seperated from the base as shown below. The circles are where the screws were on mine before I removed the base.

How do I remove the base from the TV so it can be wall mounted without leaving the stand attachment attached to the TV

depends on what TV you have. Most TV models i've dealt with, you need to remove the whole back of the TV and take the base out. Some smaller LCD monitor bases like Dells are attached only by a latch. Some bases are held together by 4 screws where the VESA mount would go.

How do we mount our Panasonic Plasma tv on a tv stand?

Panasonic Plasma TVs come with a detachable base. For wall mounting it is not used, but you will need to find and attach it for use on a TV stand.
