That is a normal experience with a lot of wireless signals. Some devices have provision for adding a more efficient antenna. Check with the manufacturer or you nearest retail supplier.
Okay, I had the same problem of Jabra Journey not talking anymore, 'voice on connected "etc. And instead it only made sounds like bing bing... Here's the answer and its so simple! Turn the unit off with the slider off/on switch, (symbols are - or o). Then, press and hold the button at the very end of the unit, (symbol looks something like sound waves), while sliding the power back on. That's all there is to it and you'll hear it start talking again.
To make this complete: You need to turn off the headset (hold call button several seconds until it makes descending tone). Then hold button to turn on and keep holding 8 seconds more until blue light is on solid. Then initiate pairing at phone, and enter 0000 as the code.
