Sounds like main board fault. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ . In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

Did you set the night shutoff by accident? You can tell the tv to shut off after so many minutes... cheers

Sanyo tv model ds27930 not supporting my ps3
Whatever input you are using is either damaged or the tv is on the wrong channel and I'm sure you don't have it set on the wrong channel.

1. Another method would be to connect an old VCR to the TV through the cable plug on the back of the TV.

2. Then plug your PS3 or dvd player into the VCR's rca inputs on the back.

This works but your television has to have a cable plug on the back.

My Sanyo 42 LCD tv dp42841 will turn on for a second and then shut off. The green light turns on and stays on and the sound continues to work.. Any idea what could be the problem.

My 46" sanyo lcd tv screen was all black on the right side and got to where it shut off now it wont even come on
Specifying the model - and in case of Sanyo TVs the chasis - is critical for faster and proper diagnostics of such problems.

My Sanyo DP47460 all it does is say please wait... Then shuts off after bout 2 minutes and turns back on saying the same thing??? WHAT WRONG WITH IT??/
The software might require reloading or there are other defects inside the TV boards.

I can not get my rca remote to work on my Sanyo model DS20425
If you don't have the code, you could do a code search and when you hit the code search button on the remote, continually hit the power button until your tv turns off. Then save it, but it may take awhile. You may have to hit the power off a 100 times or more if you don't have the code.

Hi:
This may be due to the possiblity that the you are on the wrong input source, If you watch HD Channels then the input source would either be componet or HDMI input. Try changing the input source of the television with the TV's remote until you see the Channels again. IF you are not watching HDTV then the television is on the wrong reception channel for the Direct TV's box. Try channel 4 or 3 or even 73.
