Make sure the two ports that you've connected to are outputs. Then disable the built in TV speaker and adjust output volume on the TV.

Check the audio output settings in the menus. Check the sound bar with a CD player audio signal, make sure it is plugged in the correct place.

SOURCE: LG 42in LCD. All of sudden this weekend the sound goes off. I could have swore I saw the mute signal pop up then right back off the screen. My tv is connected to Uverse, a soundbar and an Xbox 360

If it works with the 360 and speakers are on---disconnect power from the TV and the box for the uverse and after a wait power them back--its possible a glitch from box if used caused this.

Also if box has audio/video outputs connect from them to a rear input on the set to see what happens.

SOURCE: SEIKI TV Won't power up

The main power supply regulator board to your TV should be troubleshooted. In most cases, it might need card base replacement.

Testimonial: "I was looking at a picture of the board and noticed it has a fuse box. Could it be that simple? here is a picture of the power supply board. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200926504694&item=200926504694&vectorid=229466#ht_715wt_1044"

How do I connect my Samsung soundbar to my seiki TV using Bluetooth

This will depend on how old the TV is and if it has bluetooth installed in it.
Turn on the Surround Sound System, switch the system on and turn the bluetoothVisibility On.
Go into the TV settings and find the bluetooth section. It will usually be it the 'network' section.
Turn on the bluetooth and 'search for devices'. Connect to the sound bar when it appears.
If yours does not have bluetooth you can buy a bluetooth sender/receiver that plugs directly into the TV to convert it for bluetooth.

I have a Samsung soundbar connected to my TV. Sound is working fine through the optical cable. But when I connect the soundbar to Bluetooth there is no sound at all. Please help.

Try pressing and holding the Bluetooth button on the sound bar, that will put it in search mode. Once it detects the Bluetooth device it will connect.

How do i connect a technika TKSBSE213 soundbar to a telly

Does your TV have a Digital optical port? It's a cable that sends a red light source. That is actually how you're suppose to hook up a soundbar. digital optical cable Bing images Straight forward. Plug and play. If you're TV doesn't have an optical port, as I know your soundbar does then you have to use a stereo Y Cable. 3.5mm to Red/White. Sound bar will have 33% the power going this way as opposed to an optical cable. Aux Audio Out has a itty bitty amp pushing power. Purpose of the Digital optical Cable is a light source.

Does the Samsung UN50f6300af smart led tv support the Samsung Wireless audio soundbar HW-H450?

Because your TV is not Bluetooth-enabled and you are trying to connect it to a Bluetooth-enabled soundbar via Bluetooth. There are other ways to connect your TV to the soundbar:

1. analog AUDIO OUT (L/R) of your TV to the AUX IN on the soundbar (use a 3.5 mm.-to-RCA audio cable).
2. Optical OUT on your TV to Optical IN on the soundbar.
3. HDMI port to HDMI port (this may not work if your TV is not ARC compliant you have to try).

You get better sound quality with option 2.or 3. (if this one works for your TV)

Here is the link to download the soundbar's User Manual for help with the connections:

Do i need to buy anything extra for my ilive 37' soundbar for my tv? The sound doesnt work with my tv, but the bluetooth works just fine.

You'll need some sort of audio cable to connect the TV's sound or audio output to the soundbar. For the most basic connection, use an RCA-style cable ( like the one found here: http://goo.gl/5F8yLh ) to connect your TV's audio output to the soundbar's input. Most soundbars also have an SPDIF input ( like the one found here: http://goo.gl/2F2rKs ) and most modern TV's have an SPDIF output. Get an SPDIF optical digital audio cable to connect the two devices together. Once you've decided which type of connection to use and have connected the TV's audio output the soundbar, then make sure you select the proper input on the soundbar. That should fix your problem.

Can beats s450 be connected to any soundbar?

If the soundbar is Bluetooth-enabled, yes. But I have not read or heard about a Bluetooth-enabled soundbar yet. And why would you want to connect the headphones to the soundbar ? The only situation where this would make any sense is if the soundbar were hooked up to a TV. If this is the case, your only solution is to use regular (not Bluetooth) wireless headphones, which consists of two pieces: the headphones and a transmitter that you hook up to the audio output of your TV. The transmitter piece transmits any sound coming out from your TV wirelessly to the headphones.

JBL SB400 Soundbar System

With some TV's you have to go into the menu, and enable an external sound device. If that doesn't work you can try to hook the tivo to the other HDMI inputs to make sure they work. If yes then, it's not your TV it's the soundbar. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Can't get sound out of Boston soundbar when hooked up to 46" LCD Philips? Soundbar works fine when hooked directly to iPod.

You may have to go into the settings on the tv and turn off the internal speakers in order to get audio out of the jacks on back.
