What Keurig machine has been recalled - Keurig Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines

Sharon, Green Mountain Keurig, the Massachusetts-based maker of coffee machines known for their single-serving "K-Cup" pods, has announced the recall of its Mini Plus Brewing System, due to a malfunction that can make the brewer spray hot water.

The recall affects 7 million machines sold between December 2009 and December 2014, including 6.6 million in the US and over half a million in Canada.
The company is offering a free repair kit to fix the problem

Some of the Keurig machines were recalled for this issue They are Model number K10 (formerly identified as B31) produced prior to July 2014. c You can call toll-free at (844) 255-7886 Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)

Contact Keurig directly. If there is a safety recall I cannot see them giving you trouble about not having a receipt as they will want to avoid any lawsuits from burns that could occur from unrepaired machines.

Contact Keurig via phone or website to confirm but the website says only the K10 right now.

I went to the Kuerig web site, in their page there is a search bar. I typed in recall and hit the enter button. It asked several questions and after completion I got an email that said my coffee maker was on the recall list and a " kit " would be mailed to me.
