SOURCE: Zoom Function and Verizon Fios TV

On the verizon FIOS tv box, turn the FIOS STB on, and turn on the tv, tap the following buttons on the Verizon FIOS STB )in this order) 1-Power, then Select, then Menu. This will bring up the FIOS STB HD options. Arrow down to 4:3 Bypass and set the bypass option to 480P. Hit power 2 times, once to turn off, second time to turn STB back on. This should on standard channels give you the zoom feature back. This worked on my Samsunf 5053 TV model.

I just bought a new insignia LCD TV and the picture does not cover the entire screen. Instead of the 32 inch. diagnal I should, I have a 24 inch picture. Is there something I can do about it?

The "picture size" on the TV needs to be set correctly. You should have a "ZOOM" button on your remote. Press it a few times, cycling through the options... see if this fixes the problem.

Be advised, many (most) HD channels do not show HD content all the time. At the broadcasters discretion, they may choose to ADD the black bars to either side (and/or top an bottom) of the image. This is what the "ZOOM" button is actually for... to allow you to correct this, filling the screen with the image.

*Note: many cable box have a "FORMAT" or "HD ZOOM" button. When used in conjunction with the TVs zoom feature, you can end up having one device set correctly, while the other is not. The result is often a picture that is expanded far beyond the bounds of the displayable area of the screen. If you can not find a solution using the "ZOOM" button, pick the setting which shows the most image. Now adjust the cable box setting (FORMAT / HD ZOOM).

HD TV screen is zoomed to far out. How do

Use the Picture, Zoom, or Aspect button on the TV remote to cycle through the available screen sizes. You may also be able to set screen size in a Setup-Picture (or Video) menu.

ZooMING Problem

You can't zoom when you are in 3MP mode (default highest resolution). The phone can only zoom in VGA/1MP/2MP modes.

To switch modes:
Start the Camera
Choose "Settings"
Choose "Picture Size"
Pick "2 MP" or "1 MP" or "VGA"

Note: Lowering the Picture Size lowers your picture resolution and quality.

Picture Quality Iphone

This is normal. Most pictures you see on websites are small representations. Try going to a wallpaper or background website, click on larger pictures and zoom in then.
As for Youtube, this is normal to have ratty quality videos. this is also dependent on your bandwidth, so it may drop in quality in a low reception area, but wifi should be pretty decent, just still typical YouTube quality.

How to achieve full zoom with a Nikon 55-200mmf/4-5.6G ED lens?!

1) What camera body are you using?

2) I do not understand your assertion that it automatically zoomed in. Zooming is a manual function. The automatic functions of your lens pertain only to focusing on of the subject so that your picture is sharp and ensuring that the correct amount of light is admitted so that you have a correct exposure.

3) Are you sure you were turning the zoom ring and not the f-stop ring? The zoom ring is labeled 200 on one end of the scale and 55 on the other. It is also the widest ring on the lens barrel. When you rotate it, the physical length of the lens will lengthen as you rotate it clockwise (viewed from behind the camera) and shorten as you rotate it counter-clockwise.

4) For reference, at 200mm the angle of view on your lens should be 10 degrees and at 55mm about 40 degrees.

Sony Bravia - Picture in ZOOm Mode

I corrected mine by adjusting my cable settings. It had been set to "zoom" / "wide" mode. I reset to "normal" and now channels look fine again.
