How can I open the page

Locate your router. There should be a label which displays your default gateway. The Default gateway displays a number. It should show a number like
  • 192.168.0.1
  • 192.168.1.1
  • 10.0.0.1
Open your browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, ETC..) Type the default gateway number into the search engine text box on top of the screen press enter or return (mac). The page should now show user name and password. Locate the router and locate the default credentials. For example. most routers requires the user name to be blank and the password is password. Routers very.

About obtaining an IP address. Routers are usually set to option the IP address automatically unless you manually set a static IP address which is not recommended.

How can i change the username and password for this router

If you know the current one, just login to the admin interface, find the 'SECURITY' section and reset it to whatever you want. If you do not know it, you will need to reset the router (usually a simple push-button on the bottom or back - press and hold for a few seconds) and then login using the default login/password for the router and start over.

TPLink TG-3269 V3.2 not in gigabit speed although driver is updated

Did you make sure you that

  1. Your router LAN port supports GB Ethernet?
  2. You are using at least CAT5 cable? Try 5e or 6 if you have one. I've seen issues with older cables, where only 4 pairs where punched through (GB needs all 8 pairs)
  3. you checked the settings on the TPlink (especially Autonegotiation?)

I have a new TP-Link WR941ND router My new Toshiba laptop can see it on the wireless network but when i enter the secure key it tells me it can not join, even my new iPad2 can see it but can not join the...

Greetings - Most likely the router is setup with a certain security type, such as WEP or WPA of which there are several types each.

Your laptop and Ipad have to be setup for the same kind of security as the router then the security key will work.

If you setup the router you have to log back into the router settings and see what kind of security is setup and what the login password is. If you didn't setup the router the person who did has to tell you what the security settings on your devices should be.

Good Luck and Thank you for using Fix Ya.
