SOURCE: Citizen Skyhawk Time Adjustment Problem

It is possible to set the main analogue hour and minute hand 30 minutes out of phase with the digital readout, but doing so will also put the analogue UTC dial 30 minutes off. It can be done by using a variation of the proceedure for zeroing the watch hands as follows: 1. Rotate the crown in its normal opering position to set the watch in chronograph mode (mode dial pointing to "chr") 2. Pull out the crown to the second click. This should cause all the hands on the watch to return to zero. "HR" should appear on the left-hand digital display. This will allow you to move the hour hand by twisting the crown. Advance it to about half way between the 12 o'clock and 1 o'clock positions. 3. Press the top button. "MIN" should appear in the left-hand digital display. This allows you to adjust the minute hand. Twist the crown to advance it to the 6 o'clock, or 30 minute, position. Note that this will also move the minute hand on the small UTC dial to the 30 minute position. 4. Press the crown back into its normal position. 5. Reset the digital time and date according to a time zone that is in a one-hour offset from UTC. This is not a perfect solution. Your digital readings will show the correct time for all one-hour offset time zones while your analogue nads are 30 minutes out of phase. Your small UTC dial will also be 30 minutes out of phase with the digital UTC. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Casio Wave Captor Watch wont set to correct time.

You need to manually adjust or set the hands to the home position as they are not where the watch thinks they should be. This can happen when you bring your watch close to a strong magnetic field. Look in the manual to do this. Afterwards your watch should set to the correct time.

I have an aquatech watch and don't know how to set it.

Thank you for contactng FixYa.
Setting the Time and Date
  • To set the time and date on your Aquatech watch, begin by pressing the "Mode" button three times to access the time setting screen. Use the "Lap/Reset" button to set the hour on your watch. Use the "Start/Stop" button to advance the numbers to reach the correct hour. When you've set the hour, use the "Lap/Reset" button to set the minutes, using the "Start/Stop" button to advance to the correct minute. Repeat the procedure to set the seconds, month, date and day of the week on your Aquatech watch.
  • Setting an Alarm
  • To set an alarm on your Aquatech watch, begin by pressing the "Mode" button two times to access the alarm setting screen. Use the "Lap/Reset" button to set the hours place, using the "Start/Stop" button to reach the correct hour. Repeat the same procedure to set the minutes for your alarm. When you have finished setting the alarm, activate it by simultaneously holding the "Lap/Reset" and "Start/Stop" buttons until the alarm icon appears. When the alarm sounds, silence it by pressing the "Lap/Reset" button.
  • Deactivating the Hourly Chime
  • Many Aquatech watch models feature an automatic hourly chime. This can be inappropriate and inconvenient in many situations. To deactivate the hourly chime on an Aquatech watch, simply press and hold the "Lap/Reset" and "Mode" buttons simultaneously. After you have correctly deactivated the hourly chime, the hourly chime indicator icon will disappear from the watch's main screen.

    How do I change the "day of the week" on my Tommy Bahama 1072 watch?

    But the first notch, or first snap, is the secret and the key to setting the Day and Date! In the first notch position, you'll see that if you spin the Crown one way, it will change the Day. Spin it in the opposite direction and it changes the Date! Do keep in mind that you may have to spin the Day and Date a couple rotations because it most likely will alternate between English and Spanish. Just pick the correct Language for you and it's done! When the Day and Date are set, push the Stem in all the way and enjoy your Watch! If you still have the problem with your Watch changing Dates at Noon instead of Midnight, that just means you're on the wrong 12 hr cycle. (It's set for Twelve at Night instead of Twelve at Noon) All you need to do is pull the Stem all the way out, (second notch) and Spin the Minute and Hour hands ahead 12 hours. If it's Twelve O'Clock, spin it ahead until it's Twelve O'Clock again. Doing that will put the Watch on the correct 12 hour cycle. Granted, you may have to reset your Day and Date again since you just advanced it, but at least you'll be in the correct Time Zone! Happy Spinning! google_protectAndRun("ads_core.google_render_ad", google_handleError, google_render_ad);
