It should be stamped on the barrel. If not, please take it to a gunsmith. He should be able to tell you what lenght of shell can be safely fired from the gun.

You must have thought, the photo shooters can help me with this shooter. I think this is a problem for the gun smith.
I do advice you not to put in any other ammunition in your rifle, unless a specialist tells (and shows why) different.
Use guns with trust, but never trust a gun.

Erial number

Before the gun control act of 1968, serial numbers weren't required by law.

Manufacturer of low end guns didn't bother numbering them.
