Hello.

From Uniden:

To set the clock on your answering machine:

Press and hold the Clock button until a beep tone sounds.

Next, press the skip or repeat key until the correct day is announced. (Numbers zero
through six display on the base as each day is announced.)

Press Clock again to select the day. The hour setting is announced.

Press skip or repeat until you hear the current hour setting. Numbers 1 through 12 display on the base as each hour is announced.

Press Clock again to select the correct hour.

Press Skip or Repeat until you hear the current minute setting. The numbers 0 through 59 display on the base as each minute is announced.

Press Clock again to select the correct minute. The AM/PM setting is announced.

The LED displays an A or P. Press Skip or Repeat until you hear the correct AM/PM setting.

Press Clock again to end the time/day setting. The EXA7950 announces the time that you have set.

Hi!

First of all you need to set the Language which allows you to set the answer in either English or in Spanish voice menu mode. Once the language is set, all voice menu, including the ones used in Remote access mode, will be switched to the selected language.
1. Press and hold the STOP/SET button for two seconds, then release to access the set-up menu.
2. The answering machine announces, "For English, press NEXT, press SET to continue (in English). Para espanol, oprima PREVIO, oprima PROGRAMAR para continuar (in Spanish)".
3. Press NEXT, answerer enters English voice menu mode. If PREVIOUS is pressed, answerer enters Spanish voice menu mode. If SET is pressed, answerer remains in the current language mode. In any case, the answerer enters to the TIME/DAY menu.
NOTE: Language can only be set when the user is in physical access of the unit. When you are running in Remote Access mode, the language cannot be changed and will remain in the language you’ve previously set.10
Setting the Time/Day : This setting allows you to set the current time and day for the Time/Day stamp attached to each message.
Hour : 1. When you have completed setting the Language, the unit will enter the TIME/DAY menu. The answering system announces, "Time (the current time and day setting) To set hour, press next...press set to continue."
2. To change the hour, press and release the NEXT or PREVIOUS button and the answering system announces an hour, such as "12am, 1am, 2am," or "12am, 11pm, 10pm."
3. After choosing the hour, press and release the STOP/SET button to store the hour. The answering system enters the Minute menu.
Minutes : 1. The answering system announces, "(the current minutes setting). To set minutes, press next...press set to continue."
2. To change the minutes, press and release the NEXT or PREVIOUS button, and the answering system announces a minute such as "1, 2, 3" or "59, 58, 57."
3. After choosing the minute, press and release the STOP/SET button to store the minute. The answering system enters the Day menu.

How to set time and date

For example to set wedesday 1:10 am you would:
a: press and hold the time/code button for 2 sec. You will hear announcement "to set code ...... to set time press memo (2-way) button
b: release the time/code button
c: press the 2-way/m button once. You will hear voice prompt set day and time, sunday
d: press the << button or the >> button until you hear wed.
e: press the time code button once to enter the current day and xx hour is announced
f: press the << button or >> button to get to 1.
g: press the time code button once and 1 will be announced and you will hear xx min. announced
h: press the << button or >> button once for each minute as it will gradually increases or decreases to reach 10.
i: press the time code button and 10 will be announced followed by pm
j: press << button or >> button to change am
k: press the time code button once and it should announce the current day and time.

GE Digital Messaging System ~ Voice/Time/Day stamp
1a] press and hold down STOP/set button and wait for promps.....
ie. press NEXT to change Day stamp and then SET to pick.
ie. press NEXT to change Hour and SET to pick.
ie. press NEXT to change Minute and SET to pick.
1b] press NEXT to pick 1minute allowance recording for recieving messages coming in, or 2 minutes or 3 minutes or 4 minutes. This machine only has 1/2 hour of recording time, so maybe you can 'tell' -record- that and let incoming callers know they have only minutes and machine will automatically shut off and cut them off [hang-up] on them.
2] press and hold down Greeting button and follow promps to change the answering machine voice promps to your own voice. Machine will automatically PLAY BACK your voice, if you don't like what you hear, press and hold down Greeting button again and try again.

Does your system have a time/code button? If it does, hold the button down for about 5 or so seconds until you hear the date, then use your arrow keys up above & change to appropriate date & time.

Found my manual!
To set the time, press and hold the time/code button for 2 seconds. You will hear "TO SET CODE PRESS TIME AND CODE BUTTON."
Release the time/code button.
Press the 2 way/m button once. You will hear "SET DAY AND TIME, SUNDAY"
Press the << or >> button until you hear the correct day.
Press the time/code button once. You will hear "TWELVE"
Press the << or >> button until you hear the correct hour.
Press the time/code button once. You will hear "OH".
Press the << or >> button until you hear the correct minutes.
Press the time/code button once. You will hear "PM".
Press the << or >> button if you need to change to AM.
Press the time/code button once and you will hear the complete time and day setting.

To record an outgoing message, press and hold the ogm button. Release the ogm button and start to record after you hear "PLEASE RECORD AFTER THE TONE" followed by a beep tone. When finished, press the ogm button.

Make sure you put a battery in the answering machine so you don't lose these settings if the power goes out!
