Insert Batteries Where on Vivitar VimiCam X014N?

Do you mean the Vivitar ViviCam X014N? If so, the battery compartment is on the right hand side as you look back of the camera with the view screen and menu buttons. The cover on the battery compartment will rotate up from the bottom of the camera when opened. This is shown in the manual although it isn't completely clear. The current link to the manual for the ViviCam X014 is http://www.vivitar.com/files_products/445/ViviCam_X014_Camera_Manual.pdf . See pages 3-4 for the pictures of the battery compartment location. Note: the N suffix refers to the case color. The manual applies to any ViviCam X014.

I hope this helps.

How to open battery door for vivicam F126

Well after looking at the manual, it is of no help but the pictures show it hinging open. Try pressing down and sideways along the compartment door from hinge line to outer edge. It it slides, it should unlock.

Read reviews that indicated Vivitar customer support told an owner to visit a camera shop. Manual is on the CD included with the camera.

Good luck.

Cannot open case to install batteries. Pushing door in direction of arrow. Is there something else?

I was able to get it open by putting my finger on the battery door back toward the screw and pushing it down and forward until it popped open. I worked for hours trying to get it open. I found a video on uTube that gave an opening review of the camera and I saw how he opened it. Hope this helps.

I have a Vivitar Vivicam 5050 black and I use 2 AAA batteries in it ,but it only lets me take a few pictures and the camera turns of wanting new batteries. Can you help?

The Vivitar Vivicam 5050 is notorious for eating up battery life. But first off, try to check for any corrosion inside the battery compartment. If there is none, I would suggest that you use alkalines or better yet, rechargeable batteries to make it more cost effective.

How do you release the battery compartment on the Vivicam X014?

It's a tight fit, but you slide the side down and it will open.
