How do I read my micro sd card?
A usb micro sd card reader to a usb port. They are cheap at most box stores and most modern operating systems worth a pot of beans should have the drivers to read it.
I got a vivitar camera but i can't use the vivitar experience image manager cd because my laptop does not take cds. Is there another way to access vivitar experience image manager
You don't need the Vivitar software. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as
Picasa.Picasa also gives you superior photo editing capabilities than the Vivitar software and will work with photos from any digital camera.
I have a Vivitar mini digital camera but no CD to load software. Where can I get software download?
Mostly additional software isn't needed as digital cameras invariably capture and store images in jpeg format that can be downloaded, viewed and stored on any Windows computer and probably most other types.
Connect the camera to a usb port and switch on and the computer should recognise it and provide an onscreen menu. Once connected one of my cameras produces an onscreen menu where I have to select "connect to pc".
An alternative to the above is to remove the memory card from the camera and use a card reader to access the pictures.
The cd supplied with a digital camera is usually photo processing software, the like of which can be downloaded free from many online sources.
