Have you tried draining off some back-pressure. That often is what the rapid flash means. Try pushing the hot water button then opening the steam valve. A few seconds after the pump comes on to push water out, the red light should go off. If it takes more than a few seconds, that's probably not the problem. hope this helps.

First step: check the flow turbine. If the pins are corroded, change the turbine.

SOURCE: Re Odea Giro Plus - Cannot stop the red alarm

The problem is with the flow meter which is a turbine unit that is installed before the pump.Either there is a blockage or the unit is bad.Have to open the machine to get into it.

My saeco odea giro coffee machine has a red light flashing quickly. The light looks like an exclamation mark. No matter what we have done to try and correct it still doesn't stop.

First try to prime the machine.
Turn on hot water and prime about 100 ml hot water. If the red light remain you have to change the flowmeter.

Saeco coffee machine with a red blinking exclamation point light won't make coffee, how do I fix it?

When the red exclamation point is flashing slow, something is not where it is supposed to be, bean hopper lid, door, brew mech, water tank empty, dregs box or water tray on dregs container is full. If the red exclamation point is flashing quickly, open the steam valve for pump priming. If pump turns on, and water passes correctly, the light should go off and return to heating stage. If not, we have a blockage or a pump that is not working correctly.

Saeco talea giro flashing red exclamation point

take out the coffee waste bin, on the side facing into the machine, there's a little metal bit, it's a kind of sensor.
Clean it if it's dirty with a screwdriver or some wire wool.
Have you cleaned the brew group lately?

Hi, I have a Saeco Talea Giro Plus machine and have only used it a few times. Now the alarm light is permanently on, but the machine has enough coffee and water and the drip tray and dregdrawer are empty....

Hi Natasja, try pull out the driptray and dreg draw while the machine is on and wait about 10 secs. When the red light start flashing, put the parts back. The red light should dissappear. Good luck.

Red ! light comes on and will not work

If it is a steady light water tank is not properly in OR dregs counting and drip tray is full. Pull out the drip tray and wait for the red light changes in to flashing, then put back the drip tray.

Our machine has stopped working....the alarm light is on and flashing slowly so we have gone thru all the steps in the book to find out what is wrong. When we turn the machine on, the green lite goes on...

If red light slowly flashing....Please check brewunit, dregdraw, door and coffeebean lid is properly in .
If flashing fast..means ventilate(prime the machine)
If itis steady..no water in the tank or time to empty the drip tray.or the more serious case the grinder is not working or not self testing.
