Thank you for your post, Wendy Berg!

I understand that you are searching for a filler piece to go between your Electrolux range and countertop. I was unable to locate any type of filler piece I see the manufacture has a side trim kit, rear filler panel, and backguard kit but nothing specific to your request. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

I bought the big Idyllis -awesome;however, I purchased a second and it was possessed - makes woooo noises. exchanged it. Same thing. Smaller unit -loud. Would like another large with the wooooooo.

I used to use a damp papertowel and then an antiseptic wipe or spray a tiny bit of windex on a second paper towels and wipe each bar individually lts just a pain and a bit scary. this way it should be left to dry for hours. the dust is connecting the ionic filter the metallic bars that look like the bottom of a DVD are statically connecting creating the pop noise a shaking or rattling noise means it probably wet.
I got a trick use a microfiber towel to wipe the majority of the filters filmy residue. then grab a screen cleaner used for a tablet I pod or a cell phone. once the icky sticky collection on the ionic filters metallic bars. the cell screen cleaner. should make all the metallic parts oil and dust free. and they can be used over and over again. a microfiber towel just needs to be rinsed by hand afterwards if it's dirty it's fine it's just used so that there's no papertowel remnance. a glasses lense cleaner should just get the oils off afterwards cause that will make it so it won't attract dust quicker which is how it shakes wen wet. Basically tiny dampness attracts dust creating a clumping which makes it unbalanced so then the shaking or rattling. u gotta start over again. those are two ways.
now afterward take a deep breath plug it in hold the button down for 3 to 5 seconds. This should reset the switch to normal and then press it again to turn it on. it should only have a tiny breese. My dad would say that it's broken but it's for allergens and free flowing dust. So have it a foot off the ground and usually near a light switch cause they never have furniture there also all switches are out of the way cause usually the first thing you need to see is light which is why ur hand reaches not ur feet as if u would kick first to find a couch. if you have it by the couch or chair it my seem plesent till it falls. all purifiers r the same an ion charge stimulates low electricity attracting fibers or dust as a balloon gathering static electricity. the best purifiers to have are the water filtering purifiers no problems there just change the water once a week. well I hope you got some knowledge of helping you understand how and why they do as they do. most people end up giving them away.

Power Surge Electrolux double oven EI30EW45JS, now producing F11 code, installed new board, how to reset to see if problem is fixed?

Good Morning Jennifer Lynch, thanks for your post!

I see you have replaced the control board on your Electrolux wall oven and it is displaying an "F11" error code. "F11" stands for a shorted keypad, since you have replaced the board I would recommend resetting your wall oven. You can reset your wall oven by flipping the household circuit breaker off for ten minutes. If you need further assistance please feel free to reconnect. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

On my Electrolux wave touch range, the burner buttons remain lighted, won't go onto sleep mode and when touched will not cause a burner to begin heating. It's as thought they are all stuck in the ligh

Hello friend, thank you for your post!

I understand that your Electrolux range burner buttons are remaining on. I have identified a few possibilities as faulty burner buttons, bad switches, or a disruption inside the control panel. Let's perform a reset on your range which can be done by flipping the household circuit breaker off for ten minutes. If that does not help correct the issue I would suggest consulting with a professional for proper repair. Hopefully this helps. -Matt

How do you access the motor and guts of an Aeruslux or Electrolux Canister Vacuum Cleaner

Hi, I can help. Flip the canister on it's back. Remove all crews. Should pull apart from there. If not check around body to see if it's clipped. You may have to pry the sides apart. That will give you access. Be careful and pay attention to where everything is. Good luck.

The plug in the back may have come loose that connects the buttons & lights to the circuit board. Have you ever taken the machine out of the wood carcass? You will need to do so to re-connect the plug.

I have just remodeled a old condo with new toilets and I am getting a strong gas smell. How can I get rid of it. I am in Thailand and the building is 22 years old.

jajoy,

Did you connect the sanitary pipe stack to the sewer line that takes away the flushed effluent? Check to see that the pipe is connected, not leaking sewer gas, not plugged up with an animal carcass, and that the pipe extends through your roof three feet past the roof line (keeps smell out of house).

Ecoquest Flair Air Purifier leaves black residue on walls and...

Hi there,

The black residue is what is in your air. The reason for it to cling to the walls is the Ionization process that the machine creates. The ionization is to create a clean breathing space, free from contaminants. All particles floating in the air will be negatively charged and cling to each other or to objects in the room (like walls) that are positively charged.

If you cook, there is some smoke created, or when you burn candles. These greasy particles will stick to the wall or to surfaces. Cleaning them up regularly might help. You can also try another product from EcoQuest called EcoH which is based on enzymes and cut through that grime easily. That might take the black stuff off the walls.

My ionic breeze quadra GP silent air purifier has no power: stopped working!

Okay, after working on my Ionic Breeze Quadra I have fixed it. My problem was it wouldn't turn on even though the fins were clean.

1. Unplug
2. Turn the machine upside down (there are 4 screws holding the bottom stand on) remove the screws
3. once bottom is off there are 2 screws sideways helping the hold the 2 sides together. Remove those 2 screws.
4. Turn the machine uprgiht and remove the middle fins (the ones you clean)
5. Remove the 4 screws that are deep in the 4 holes when you look down inside (you can't see the screws, I had to feel for them with a phillips head narrow screwdriver)

(it will be easier if your screwdriver has magnetic head for next step.)

6. after removing the 4 screws gently work lose the top (part that has the little lights and turn on push switch)

7. turn the breeze on its side, you will find about 5 or 6 tiny screws holding the two sides of the outside louver case together. Remove all these screws. You will be thankful for the magnetic end, I have small fingers and still had a problem catching the little screws.

8. You want to take off the screws from both sides but only remove one side.

9. Being careful of the wires (I left that side alone) I worked from the wire free side and using a bottle of rubbing alcohal and lots and lots of q-tips I gentle cleaned off all the gunk on all the little metal pieces at the bottom of the breeze (on the inside where the wires are). Clean as good as you can, you will find the metal pieces covered with what looks like tar but it comes off with the alcohal.

10. Using a can of 'canned air' like you'd use for a computer, gently blow the rest of the breeze parts getting all the dust away but being careful not to damage the electronics. (there are a lot of little computer boards). I didn't find any dust in the electrical parts in the very bottom of the breeze, just above where the fins are and some at the top where the controls are.

11. I cleaned the 1/2 I took completely off with some rubbing alcohal, gets that **** off pretty good but didn't mess with the side with the wires, just blew the dust out, gently cleaned a bit and on the outside.

12. To put back together, first I gently put the outer middle pieces together and then gently put the control top back on and replaced those 4 screws. Then I put the 10 or 12 tiny screws back into the middle, then the 2 screws in the bottom sides and 4 screws putting the stand back on. I stood it up, plugged it in (make sure its dry) and turned it on and the light came on and it is working great.

I've had mine for 3 years so I think they occasionally need a thorough cleaning. Except for the canned air I bought nothing else. Everyone has rubbing alcohal and q-tips in their homes. When I first started I didn't know how to dismantle it and tried to clean the inside with long q-tips but it was too hard. Those little metal pieces in the bottom make some sort of connection to the fins we pull out and clean so I guess they need good contact.

I hope I've helped all of you with the problem of the Ionic Breeze Quadra and I suspect any other iconic breeze type machine by sharper image pretty much comes apart the same way and may have the same problems. I don't know how to post this so that everyone can see it as a general solution. Maybe you guys at FixYa can help with that. --- Harry Potter Without the Wand (and a female to boot!)
