Icons don't normally just show up unless an OTA (Over-the-air) update occurred from your provider and updated or installed some apps. You should be able to remove them from your screen by dragging and dropping them to the top where it will say Remove once long pressed on an app icon.

Add
From any Home screen, tap the All apps icon.

On the tablet, open the camera app. You should see three small dots on the screen. When you tap these, three icons should open. The camera icon shows back and front, and will switch when touched. This is an android function. If you use a different app, use the settings to switch cameras.

Start the camera app.

Somewhere on the screen should be an icon to switch to video and an icon that looks like a camera with an arrow below.

Tap the camera with the arrow icon.

Here are the things I would try.

1.Close the Netflix app. Double click the home button on the iPad and swipe the Netflix app to end it.
2. Restart the iPad. Hold the power button and swipe the screen to turn off the iPad
3. Delete the Netflix app. Tap and hold the Netflix app's icon and choose the x in the corner to remove the app.
4. Re-add the Netflix app to the iPad from the app store.

4. To turn screen rotation lock on, tap the curved arrow icon so that the lock appears
5. To turn screen rotation lock off, tap the icon so that the lock disappears
6. When you're done in either version of the iOS, single tap the home button and you'll be returned to normal operation of your device.

To delete apps on an iPhone you simply press down with your finger on the icon of the app you want to remove and don't lift your finger off the screen until the icons start giggling and an x shows up on each of the icons. Now press the x to remove any app (icon) you don't want. When done press the home button to get out of delete / move mode. Some icons you cannot remove, such as system icons.
