I have a jacuzzi 1/2 hp submersible well pump. Does this need any regular maintainance to keep it happy.

Most submersible pump motors are interchangeable.
A 230 V motor will run cheaper. Be sure to get the correct HP motor.

Match inverter rating with voltage and amp draw of motor.

Determine Hp (horsepower), wattage and volts. There is a label that shows these values

1) Indoor Jacuzzi pumps are usually 115Volt and 1 Hp to 1.5 Hp. 1 Hp or horsepower is 746 Watt, 1.5 Hp is 1119 Watts.

fully submerse pump in bucket of water, tilt to get all air bubles out,(keep hose off) plug in and it should work fine

I have a master plumber 1/3 HP model 539892 submersible effluent pump and was wondering if it takes oil and if it does what type of oil.

you can just install a regular plug to the end of the wires and plug it in,, but you will need to add a ground wire,, if there is only 2 wires there should be 3 so look for a screw with a spiral clasp on it for the ground,,
