SOURCE: I purchased a Euro-Pro Shark 998A but the B looks the same

Go to this address

http://www.euro-pro.com/europro/faqdetail.aspx?modelno=998B

It does not list a 9988A, but I would imagine there is not much difference in how the threading and bobbin is done. This is a page of instructions as well as a manual to download. The manual is in Pdf format, so if you don;t hae acrobat reader, you'll need to go to www.adobe.com/acrobat and download it for free so that you can read the pdf file.

Good luck to you and Thank you for using Fix Ya!

SOURCE: Euro-Pro Shark Intelli-Sew 9110

you need a new bobbin case, only problem is finding the right one. I am currently wasting hours trying to find one for our 9110 intelli sew which has needle holes punched through it from where it jumps right out. I think lots of manufacturers know fine which parts fit the Euro-Pro but would like all of us to scrap them and go out and buy theirs!

Hi. This machine takes regular class 15 bobbins found in stores like Wal-mart. You can use metal or plastic. However, metal is preferred. You can use any press on attachments made be singer on this machine.

I have a euro pro shark sewing machine. I just changed the thread for another project and cannot get the needle to pick up the bobbin thread. Any ideas?

Try installing a brand new needle. Bent/damaged needles will sometimes not pick up the bobbin thread.

Make sure the machine is threaded correctly. Check the bobbin--ie, it is turning the correct direction in the bobbin case and is threaded properly through the bobbin tension.

You might also try pulling the bobbin thread up to the top before beginning to stitch.

Ellen did you try putting the name and model no in to a search? Also, try going on the Shark site and put in Euro Pro, etc. I have a EuroPro Crafter's Choice and sure enough I found what I was looking for. Try it. Hope that helps.

My bobbin casing keeps jumping loose

it would be a good idea to have the sewing machine checked to see if there is something wrong with the hook and hook race that hold the bobbin casing.. you may need a new bobbin casing.

Euro pro 7133 shark is jammed can't turn the wheel, removed bobbin and lock housing but can't get the wheel to turn

If you have taken out the bobbin case and the raceway the machine should move, if it does not then you have a problem elsewhere and it means a process of elimination to find the problem

Won't catch bobbin thread

In order to see whether or not my euro-pro 9110 had a timing issue, the service rep had me change out the needle (making sure I was using anything but a Singer brand needle--they do not work in these machines). I re-threaded the needle, took out the bobbin casing and the plastic ring encasing the bobbin, then lowered the needle to see if the hook on the metal ring holding the bobbin actually catches the thread on its own. If it doesn't catch, it's a timing issue and needs repair. They can walk you through this process of troubleshooting and set up repair if need.
