Troubleshooting acurite red light blinking and won't register temp

Here's the manual for the AcuRite Weather Forecaster. If it's not showing the outside temperature, make sure the A-B-C switch is set to match the display unit. Blinking of power LED are fault indications. Count the number of blinks occur at one time switch on. For this number, you can get an idea about the faulty section circuit inside it. It will make troubleshooting much narrower. If you wish to get more details about the blinking codes, check this link. Pull up older posts there.

How many times do this standby light flashes at one time switch ON? Count this and make sure, how many times it blinks. These blinks are fault indications. From these number of blinks, you will get an idea about the faulty section circuit inside it. It will narrow down the troubleshooting. if you have power problem without blinking lights or standby lights (red) the possible problem is power supply board..However if the TV have blinking or standby light but won't turn ON..there are multiple cause of that and need further troubleshooting..

The lights continually flashing indicate a paper jam or the printer being out of ink. Check/clear any paper jam and verify the ink cartidge is set correctly.

All these wireless weather station devices have to be paired to the base unit whenever the batteries are changed in any of the remotes. It's a poor design issue, but there is no way around it, due to the nature of wireless operation.

Place both units near each other and look on the back of your base and remote sensor units, you should find a reset button (or a small hole). Either press the button or use the end of a paper clip to depress and hold the reset on each unit; Base 1st, then the remote 2nd.

After a brief moment, the remote should register with the base and you'll be back getting wireless readings.
