Miele w1913 simulation active on display when I press start/stop

If it won't reset, you need a new control board. That is a job for a trained technician to correctly diagnose. Immer Besser...

Repair the control board.

1. Entering the simulation mode
Perform the following procedure to enter the simulation mode.

2. Canceling the simulation mode
When the clear all key is pressed, the simulation mode is cancelled.
When the interruption key is pressed, the process is interrupted and the
screen returns to the sub code entering display.

* After canceling the simulation mode, be sure to turn OFF/ON the
power and check the operation.

Note: If the machine is terminated by a jam error or paper empty during copying in the adjustment by the simulation, recopying is required.

DO NOT CONTINUE RESET AS THIS CAN CAUSE A FIRE AND RUIN A PERFECTLY GOOD DAY.

Keep pressing the delay button until it reaches 00:00 - you have to go all the way around

Press and hold down the start and the on/off buttons together until the display says ' d off ' then release them.
