SOURCE: LG dryer DLE 3733S control panel inop but light on

Check the power to the display panel after you have it removed. If there is no power check the lines to the control, If the power is present with no action on the panel then you will have to replace the board. It may be as simple as cleaning the board off, since it has been a intermittent problem in the past. hopes this helps Tim

Does a dryer have areset button

Generally speaking no. It might be the control board or the power supply or the control panel that is bad. You can take the top off and there should be a set of technician instructions that say what to test.

if its runs with the control panel off, most likely the tap relay on the main board is stuck closed. Replace the main board

Electric LG DLEX2801W (steam dryer) not heating.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

If you have already cleaned the vent then the problem is with the Thermal fuse. When the thermal fuse goes bad it cannot be reset and replacing it is recommended repair. It is located on the blower wheel housing inside the rear panel to the exhaust duct. You can test it for continuity before replacing. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

I bought a LG DLEX2501 today. I am frustrated as

check your main power supply and make sure there is enough power to the unit.you could have a problem with the main control board. if this dryer is new the best thing to do is call a service company out and have them look at it

LG Electric Dryer DLE2515S - dryer timer is stuck on 6 minutes and continues drying until I manually switch off - sensor dryer does not appear to be working either.

OK, test the dryness sensor for its operational value. if the test confirms sensor function, you will need to replace the main PCB board in this case.

Now, if the sensor test reveals a faulty sensor device, simply replace the sensor. In most cases, this iwll be a fualty PCB main and, replacing it will usually fix this issue.
