E studio 520 code c447

All error code soloution of fuser unit Fuser Unit Error Status Counter
Purpose
When a fuser unit related error (error code C41, C43, C44 or C45) occurs, the set value of the fuser status
counter varies, depending on type of error.
Displaying and checking the set value of the fuser status counter can analyze a cause for the error. If
any of "2 to 9" is set at the fuser status counter, the fuser unit will not be operated for safety reasons.
After the fuser unit related error is resolved, if "0" is set, the fuser unit will be operated as usual. If any of
"10 to 19" is set at the fuser status counter, the fuser unit will be operated as usual, even if "0" is not set
after the fuser unit related error is resolved.

Paper is stuck under the thermal unit and cannot be removed. The unit probably has to be removed to get at the paper and we need instructions how.

First you must remove the cover for the duplexing drawer below the fuser drawer. It will allow you to fully extend the fuser drawer to remove the fuser unit. You have to remove the 3 front covers of the fuser drawer, remove the three black screws that secure the fuser motor, then the yellow cover to access then two screws that secure the fuser unit to the drawer. But you must unplug the connectors you see in front of the fuser unit. I believe there are 5 connectors that need to be unplugged. Don't forget to unplug the connector below the fuser unit. This is the sensor that tell the fuser shield its home position. You fully extend the drawer by looking at each side of the drawer and push in the leaf springs you see and pull the drawer out further. Remove the two screws you see on the top of the fuser and gently remove the fuser unit. Take your time and all should go well.

Big noise

If the printer was not making the noise before you replaced the fuser unit I would try the following:

1. remove and re-seat the new fuser unit and try a test print.

2. if it still makes noise, remove the new fuser unit and replace the old fuser unit and try a test print. (if you waited untill the printer refused to print on the old fuser this might not work).

If you don't get the noise with the old fuser, then it's possible that the new fuser is defective. You could try returning it for replacement at this point. If you still get the noise with the old fuser, then possibly it is not seated correctly or the latches aren't locked or there is some other unrelated issue.
