Where can I find the belt routing diagram for a Husqvarna YTH21K46 riding mower?

Question edited for clarity to what I THINK you meant to say. I presume you mean a Husqvarna, you missed out the word 'belt', so I guessed it :>D I moved from the Hewlett Packard Computers Category to Husqvarna Riding Mower.

The manual will always give you the belt routing diagram. There are videos as well.

see if belt has burn spots in it that will cause it to jump excessively

Didn't say if drive or deck belts. Here id diagram for deck belts which are more commonly changed.

Its pretty straight forward to fit the cable, if it is not pulling the jockey hard enough into the belt it is more likly the belt is incorrectly fitted or has stretched.

I had this same issue. New belts and correct routing did not solve the problem. The issue with my mower was the tabs that come off the frame that you bolt the transaxle (the drive for the rear wheels and axle) had almost completely torn/cracked away. This allowed the transaxle to tilt forward under a load and slip the belt off the rear drive pulley. You see no mention of this at the dealer or company sights. The tabs are so thin this is going to happen, in my opinion, in time. I reinforced this area with 1/4 inch angle iron and have had no further belt issue.

check the belt routing sounds like you have it wrong way round one of the pullies
