so is a Husqvarna YTH22V46 22-HP V-twin Hydrostatic 46-in Riding Lawn Mower this is real name, and is mower not a car. moved yah jack it up and wiggle rear tires to free up box ? brakes set?

Sounds like a bad switch to me. The can and do fall apart inside. Springs, sliding contacts and the parts that make the circuit.

It looks like no one could help you. I seem to have the same problem on the same model. I pulled the wire out, now it is just loose and will not go back in. Mower will not go forward or reverse. I can't seem to find any help to fix it.

If the transmission is hydrostatic and has some hours on it, the transaxle may be going bad. If this has been getting worse as you use it. If the problem happened suddenly, could be a belt loose or stretched.

You have a safety switch bad. Could be the seat switch or clutch switch.

If the battery is good check the battery connections are clean and tight.

Have you tighten the blade up? If the blade is tight, you have a bushing/bearing problem.

when you actuate the "engage blade" lever, two things may occur, First, a mechanical action, a spring moves to put tension onto the belt. to much gas check to see if chock is off or replace bad fuel siliniod rebuild carberator

the back were the rear wheels are you need to check the fluid or just go ahead and chang hdrostatic fluid and filter best thing to do

After reading your question it sounded like the smoke was due to fuel leaking on the muffler and or excess fuel entering the combustion chamber. I would due the following diagnostic. In a quite area turn on the ignition switch. You should hear the metallic click of the fuel cutoff solinoid on the carburetor.
