If your engine is running it has compression and spark. I think you have water in your gas. Remove and empty your gas tank and remove and empty your carb fuel bowl. Put in fresh gas and try again. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

Have you checked the drive belt for transmission, 2 belts come off engine pulley, 1 for mower deck, the other for transmission

Which belt? The cutting deck belt or the belt which drives the mower?

The number should be on a sticker on side of the motor. If it's a Briggs engine than it could also be on valve cover

If you are lucky it could be a belt slipping, so a new belt will cure this however as this happens when the machine warms up it could well be a hydro problem, as the oil in the hydro heats up it becomes more viscous so if there is wear in the hyro it will leak internally causing slow running.

HIIm sure you have a hydrostatic or an automatic forward and reverse right well your ****** is on its way out when it warms up it likes to crawl in this case even if you attempt to check oil or even try draining and putting in different oil its a tough one ****** is expensiveJoeJoe
