It is an ipv6 address. A trace shows that addresses in that range belong to Comcast

No he is not on any kind of remote wireless of any kine. He is hard wired in to the network. But yea I get what you are saying. Like I said before I know he is getting spoof because all the emails he get's back it returned to use with some other server IP address not ours. You know when you send a email the server IP address in attach to it. Plus we have not been put on any black list. LOL. So i know by that. He cam in last monday with 5,000 return email's. LOL. They want me to do something about it. I told them he need's a new email address but the owner of the company said no and that there has to be something I can do. So i posted this knowing that Someone will just tell me what I know.That nothing can be done and to give me a new email address. Thanks for your help. You don't know of a way to stop email spoofing do you?

account>>select pop3>>enter your details in there... click next and there you go...

First, I would try resetting the modem by unplugging for 10 seconds or so and then plugging it back in. To be on the safe side, I would also reboot computer. AFter that, I would try to see if it picks up valid ip address. If it doesn't, you may need to call your cable internet provider and perhaps get the mac address of your modem in their system (if it's not already)

If you have access to the machine then all you have to do is get into command prompt and type "ipconfig/all" however, if your trying to trace an ip it is illegal for you to do so unless your an ISP.
If your still curious then you should look into hacking wireless internet connections as there are ways of attaining network information if your connected to it.
Again, very illegal and these days very hard to do because most people hide behind a proxy server or firewall.

Sometimes these IP address 192.168.1.1 when you type it in the address bar don't work in internet browser like mozilla firefox and ggogle chrome.
If you are using windows xp... use the "e explorer" (internet explorer) as your browser
On the address bar type 192.168.1.1
There you can access the configuration of your router.
Go to the Start menu, go to Run, and type "CMD" in the dialog box (without the quotes.)
