This are the common problems of Iphone/Ipod Wireless Fidelity...
* iPod Touch shows no WiFi address (Tap Settings > General > About and scroll down to WiFi Address.
* iPod touch appears to be connected to a WiFi network but cannot use Wi-Fi for checking email and surfing the Internet.
* iPod Touch WiFi icon is showing as grayed out.
* When you tap Settings > WiFi and then you see no network entries.
First you need to back up your data by syncing your iPod touch to iTunes. It is very important you do this before proceeding with the fixes below.
1.On the iPod Touch go to Settings > General > Reset and then select Reset Network Settings. Now see if the device displays the WiFi address under Settings > General > About and scrolling down toWiFi Address. If there is a WiFi address listed then you issue is resolved. Else try method 2 below.
2. On the iPod Touch go to Settings > General > Reset and then select Erase All Content and Settings. Now see if the device displays the WiFi address under Settings > General > About and scrolling down to WiFi Address. Ifthere is a WiFi address listed then you issue is resolved. Else try method 3 below.
3. If the above fixes don't work then the only thing left is to restore the iPod touch software using iTunes which will erase all data on the device. So before restoring make sure you back up your data by syncing with iTunes.
After the restore is complete, you can re-sync with iTunes to load the data back to your iPodTouch. Now see if your device shows a WiFi address (tap Settings >General > About and scroll down to WiFi Address). If none of the above settings and fixes work ,then you might want to consider getting your iPod touch repaired by Apple.
When you reset the tablet your tablet wifi settings, wifi name and password will be erased. You have to detect your wifi on the tablet, connect to it and enter password right?
To set up your WiFi network, tap the Menu Key > Settings > Wireless & networks > WiFi settings. If WiFi is not checked, tap WiFi to turn wireless on, and wait for your tablet to detect nearby networks. Tap the name of your network and enter a security password, if required.

I will tell you how to set up wifi in corby 1st because it will come in handy in the second part.
1) 1 st go to menu and scroll to the right screen where the wifi shortcut is detected.r phon 2)Click on wifi and it will open and then click on the grey bubble which says wifi, this will activate your wifi. 3)Now click on search, and now your phone will search for available wifi signals. 4) If a wifi signal is available click on it and click connect. If you are accessing wifi from this source for the first time a window will pop up describing the wifi settings, now click on save and it will be saved.If the connection is a secured connection you will have to insert the password in the details 5) After saving the settings your phone will be connected to the network. 6) Once it is connected click on the wifi provider link and click start internet, now you can browse internet using wifi
To set up your gps 1) Go to menu click on settings 2) In settings go to phone settings 3)Select GPS settings 4)click on GPS + settingsr 5)Click on download data and then the phone will download data for your gps, you have to choose a profile for downloading the gps data that is whether if you are using gprs or wifi. Click the profile and you are done . 6)You will download data and to check position click on gps position in gps settings menu
