Good Afternoon Dogman85,
I understand you want to know how to remove the drain plug from your garbage disposal, regarding your Frigidaire dishwasher, model# PLD2850. I suggest contacting the manufacturer of the garbage disposal. They will be able to better assist in removing the drain plug from your garbage disposal. Hope this is helpful.

SOURCE: How to knock out garbage disposal plug
Turn off the power source to the garbage disposal. Take the drain hose from the dishwasher off the connector going to the disposal (if connected). Insert a flat blade screwdriver in the drain hose fitting and tap a few times with a hammer. The plastic plug will pop off inside the garbage disposal. Reach inside from the top of the disposal to retrieve the plastic plug. Sometimes you have to use a little force to tap the plug out. Hope this helps you.

The disposal has a port that connects to the dishwasher. If the disposal clogs, the dishwasher cannot drain. There should be a 5/16 hex hole in the center of the underside
of the disposal to use a "wrenchette" disposal wrench to free the disposal. Or just use a
5/16 allen wrench. After freeing unit up, push the red square reset button on the bottom of the disposal. It should now work at the switch.
On some smaller disposals you may need a "universal"
disposal wrench that works from the top of the disposal. The reset is still located on
the bottom of the unit though. They cost around 10 dollars at the home improvement
store. Hope this is helpful.
