Is the mute button on?
Depending on your technicla skill, you could open it up and check that the leads are connnected to the internal speakers. They may have come adrift.

sounds like a mother board problem try plugging it into a main socket and not an extention lead this might resolve if it still does the same take a look at the child lock feature on the remote see if it is turned on if so turn off should do the trick
It is with the fault to its main power supply regulator board itself. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" will make surf easy. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
I also can not connect my Turtle Beach x11 headphones to the Audio output on this TV - I have tried entering the code above but to no evail - sounds like there is a hidden problem here
Hi, This problem arises due to cross pin connection of the headphone socket.Mostly frequent use of the headphones result this situation (no sound via external speakers). Call any service man he will provide you the services at nominal charges. And if you can do it by yourself then approach to the headphone section and just adjust the headphone pin, This will solve the problem. Thanks for using fixya.
User problem!! The main TV volume and the headphone volume work independently so you can have the TV volume set at zero and use the headphone volume. However I suggest getting a pair of headphones with it's own volume control.
