Turn on Clippers stopped working

install the clipper blades onto the unit properly

From your description it indicates that the blade base is on the tang but the clipper is not inline with the activator and will click in a bit more

If the clippers stopped cutting, they are probably clogged with hair on the inside of the clippers. I had two pairs of clippers where this happened. I took them to be serviced at a beauty supply store and they cleaned the hair from the inside of both pairs of clippers for me and they now work just fine.

burred teeth on cutter? check for damaged teeth...if blades dont move it wont let motor turn over

You need to replace the motor and the PCB. The motor is drawing too much current, that's what has wrecked the PCB. If the armature is a separate available part rather than a complete motor then it will be the armature you need.

need oil internally gears etc... will fix problem (dry)

1 or 2 basic things happened. 1st there is an armature adjustment on the right hand side when viewing the clipper from the top (it looks like a screw). Place a screw driver in this and turn it counter clockwise, if this screw is up against the stop than you can place a small screwdriver behind it and pop it out (this is actually a cap) now you can access the actual adjuster. back this out about an 1/8 of a turn at a time until the noise stops, turn them side to side to insure that the armature is far enough off of the motor coil. Then replace the cap.

OIL THE CLIPPERS AND CLEAN THE HAIR OUT REALLY GOOD.

sometimes if your blades dry out the clipper will turn on, but won't clip. try oiling you blades and then turn it on.

If the unit is less than a year old the repair will be covered under warranty. Without further information and inspection it would be impossible to tell you what the problem is.
