Hi, On several instances of this type problem, I normally suggest to check the particular WiFi Networking card that is used by the Toshiba laptop. This could be done by going to the Device Manager under Networking adapters. Thereafter go to the website of the chipset/wifi manufacturer and check if they have a connection utility. Sometime Windows WiFi Configuration utility fails to detect the existing network. You may have to use the config utility of the manufacturer. A method of verifying if your WiFi is working and if it can detect the network around it is by downloading, installing and running NetStumbler. Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need further information. Good luck and kind regards.

Well, can you use the system you wrote this post on to access Toshiba's support site, download the drivers for the M35, and tranfer them via flash drive or cd or usb? That would be best, given the information at hand. You don't have to use the actual system in question to download drivers. Good luck

Your best bet, if you can plug in to the internet by wire, is to go to a website called driveragent.com and do a scan. They usually will have all the drivers you need. (this is what I do). You will need to buy a subscription, but it will save you a ton of time. If you can't go online at all, you will have to find out the brand names of the audio, video, wireless and mass storage controller devices for your laptop via the the hardware profile on your laptop, then go to their websites on another computer and download them to a flash drive or CD so that you can load them on your laptop. It would be very helpful to get your Wifi working first, so that you can do the rest online directly with your laptop, again through a company like driveragent.com
