Probably not, but why not just ask a certified mechanic at the local Hyundai dealer? Even the manager of that Service Department should be able to give you, FOR FREE, the correct answer.

1990 Honda prelude 2.0 4 cylinder is my engine interference

"All Honda engines are Interference except 3.0L & 3.2 which are Non-Interference."( but does not cover year 1990,) so is lie. (all means modern, not 1990)
not told which 2.0L is there VIN or country.
the names of gen3 car engines is here.
IN USA (are you) we had the SOHC and DOHC engines. both,(options)
they year some are.
in Gas world, DOHC are mostly interference.
there exceptions

B20A/B20A1 - 2.0L DOHC PGM-FI 160/143 PS (Japan/Europe)
B20A3 - 2.0L SOHC 12v carb 104 hp North America

B20A4 - 2.0L SOHC 12v carb 114 PS (84 kW)Global, except North America
B20A5 - 2.0L DOHC PGM-FI 135 hp (101 kW) North America (interference engine)
B20A6 - 2.0L DOHC PGM-FI 142 PS (104 kW) Oceania
B20A7 - 2.0L DOHC PGM-FI 150 PS (110 kW) Europe, New Zealand
B20A8 - 2.0L DOHC PGM-FI 133 PS (98 kW) Europe
B20A9 - 2.0L DOHC PGM-FI 140 PS (103 kW) Europe
B21A - 2.1L DOHC PGM-FI 145 PS (107 kW) Japan (SI States)
B21A1 - 2.1L DOHC PGM-FI 140 hp (104 kW) North America

the truth is,
we put on a new belt and do leak down test.
if fails look for bent valves.
NO belt there test.
or super brave and by HAND only
put crank and TDC mark 0 zero. at damper pulley edge scale
turn the cam cog wheel (cam) by hand, with socket wrench feel of valves hit. ( all interference engines will)
VVT on newer car is more complex answer but not here.
there is always luck.
belt slips a bit , retardds the cam and stalls before it hits. luck happens, like walking a cross a city street blind folded, I say why even ask, just do it.
most DOHC engines with 10:1 compression ratio are interference, but if is the turbo version those are not.
mostly, (vast engines types exist, and nobody knows that it seems)

if you watch a 4cycle engine simulator
see how the piston chases the exhaust valve closed
the piston wins, on some engines it bends it.
some engines with notched piston tops are free running engine.
also honda's this old had the B20B swap put in.
only you can read engine serials. b20b is interference.
Do I have to say do not crank any engine for sure on any DOHC if the belt fails.(slips or snaps)
do a leak down test. not cranking,
my mazda mx5 had 1.8 Liter, free running, engine
but was turbo version but no turbo fitted new.
had low natural compression . see?
One guy had DOHC engine and the PO wrecked the DOHC head and put on the SOHC head. (FREE RUNS)
33 YEARS OLD THINGS HAPPEN

2019 Mitsubishi outlander sport crankshaft position sensor location

do have to? there is never any answer to that, nu-diagosed.

no engine told. at all. just 4 banger
no VIN told and 8th digit is engine code.! post VIN .
crank sensor can be in 3+ places, front crank ,mid crank and rear.
yes some car with crank sensor behind fly wheel the tone slots are cut into the flywheel or the (flex plate) so yah tricky on some engines. (just so you know ropes)

if you google correct engine name + crank shaft.

you will see the tone wheel on the crank and bingo location
or read the service manual to learn this fast.

I4 means zero to me
see why?? the wiki shows this generation used all 6 engines
2012 up.

Petrol:
2.0 L 4J11 I4
2.4 L 4B12 I4[29]
2.4 L 4J12 I4[30]
3.0 L 6B31 V6[31]<<< NO
Petrol PHEV:
2.0 L 4B11 I4
2.4 L 4B12 I4
Diesel:
2.3 L 4N14 I4 turbo[32]

if the engine has CAM belt it snapped, and both sensors fail but both sensor are good, and fails compression tests or worse
head poppet valves bent./
my guess someone (kids) put you up to this guess.
or did not scan he PCM
or did not inspect that cam belt?

I have an Isuzu kb 350 and has a broken timing belt and now is failing to start because of not sure of piston position in relation to dual camshafts

be VERY careful! Most engines are interference motors and a bust timing belt results in catastrophic failure when the valves contact the pistons because they are out of sync!

Timing belts usually come with markings - you would almost certainly find the compression TDC for cylinder 1 (not exhaust TDC - if the air blows thru plug hole when piston is rising its compression - if the air is NOT blowing out plug hole its exhaust tdc - rotate once more).

Now you will have to find the timing marks on the camshaft(s) and set according to the manual.

Kia Sportage2000 2.0 dohc engin. Is it an interferance engin?

Yes it is an interference engine, so you could have damage to the valves if the timing belt breaks while the engine is running.

Do a 2006 dodge stratus have a interferance engine

Which engine does it have? 2.4L SOHC, 2.4L DOHC or is it the 2.7L DOHC? Both 2.4l engines are interference engines and the 2.7L is chaun drive.
