The screen on my tv keeps getting colored streaks on the screen. sometimes it just gets a solid color, green, red, white, etc. if i turn it off then back on it will play for just a little while. If i turn it off and leave it off it is very hard to get a picture back on it. can it be fixed?
It could be the t-con board going. or the screen connector ribbon is lose. or even just the connection cable to the t-con board. if you push gently around the edge of the screen if the pitcher gets better or worse then its the screen connections. sometimes can be fixed with cracking the cable or slightly heating the area and packing, but this is with the led screen panel out. but would think its more a t-con board filing.

Basically any damage occurs on the screen itself, the screen can only be replace as a fix. There is no way a damaged screen because it like glass. Replacement screen part would cost more than the TV is worth. It's cheaper to buy a new TV at this point.

Try reset the Audio back to factory setting.not work. Take the tv aparts, check all the connections to the speakers tight, not any cracking soldering.

First, very sorry to hear about your troubles. Life is tough, but there are good people to help you cope.
Second, the model number of your TV is probably ELCPO371, not ELP0731.
Third, it would help if you could somehow send a picture. The description does not sound promising, though. The problem is in either the TCON board and the ribbon cables that connect it to the LCD panel of the TV or, more likely, in the LCD panel itself. In case of the later there is very little chance that this can be fixed.
Sorry...but that's what I know.
Fourth, Element is brand of Proview. The support contact for the above TV model is [email protected], 1-888-238-8123.
My personal advice is that unless the TV is still under warranty you should not waste time on contacting their support. You need your energy for more important things in life.
Find a good local repairman instead.
Hope this helps and I wish you luck. If I was helpful please rate the answer, we need your support too!
