How to get lines out of the printing - Epson Stylus Photo 1280 InkJet Printer

Quickbooks has a print option where you can adjust how the checks print. I have always made a copy of the blank check and adjust the settings until it prints on the line. If you keep making adjustments you can get it to print almost
perfectly.

Perhaps did not specify paper thickness (check control panel and print driver).
Toner getting low.
Clean registration roller with clean damp cloth.

The white lines occur when the print-heads do *NOT* output coloured-ink when they should be.

Run the Epson printer-software to "clean-the-print-heads".

is this a case of the dots are missing for a valid line, or do you mean a line feed is added at the end of a line, ie you get 3 lines of text occupying 4 lines of space , or 4 lines of text occupies 4 lines of space, but one line has no printed dots on it? to make it more obvious, what does a document with say text thats 3cm tall look like? as it sounds to me like contacts need cleaning.. *** note for info: do not rely on printouts from within a BROWSER as that may have unpredictable results. All text will be treated as a large block of PIXELS and Not TEXT. also Non Printer fonts could cause similar issues.

Printer head is clogged, be sure to clean it until you get the solid lines

Try going to the "menu" button and look for "printer settings", then "cleaning" on the display.

Do a printer utility deep cleaning and possibly be prepared to replace the cartridges

Replace the ink cartridge.
The cartridge is so wide that it can print 2 lines at a time, and the upper part of it is probably partially clogged. That's why every 2'nd line is blurred, and the rest is ok.

Hi there the likely thing is that there is a small blockage in the print heads not allowing the jet to fire and causing a blank line. You could remove the print head turn it upside down using a soft cloth clean the print head also use a alcohol based fluid to aid you.

Try this if it's doesn't work then the print head will need replacing you will be able to buy online.
