My cdx this with all the lights and not answer any command

i solved the all lights on problem by replugging 2 cables into the cdx. it's the 2 integrated 3 pin circuit for cdx power, they are not soldred but just plugged in. look the picture for detailles.

All you have to do is to connect the 2 RCA audio line out from the CDX at any pair of the 4 line inputs (RCA too) at the 1200mk2. Keep in mind: Don't connect the CDX out at the PHONO inputs of the mixer.

ollow the steps:-

Remote access away from home:

You can operate your answering system from a remote location using any touchtone telephone.
1) Call your telephone number and wait for the system to answer. If the answering system is off, it will answer after about 10 rings and sounds a series of beeps.
2) During the greeting message (or a series of beeps when the answering system is off), press 0 and enter your PIN code within 2 seconds.
3) The answering system announces the current time and the number of messages stored in memory. You hear "To play incoming messages, press zero-two. For help, press one-zero." You will hear a beep.
4) Enter a command within 15 seconds, each command there after must be entered within 2 seconds

You may select a command from the following chart:


5) After the command has finished, you hear intermittent beeps indicating that the system is in the command waiting mode. You may enter another command at this
time from the chart above.

6)When you are finished, hang up to exit the system. The answering systemautomatically returns to standby.

One of my sons (40+ yrs) found the answer on the net which was yes it does, and e-mailed me. Incidentally the unit was a Sony CDX-4000R and not a Panasonic etc.

Hi the CDX-646 is not coded. it must be your head unit thats coded.what model is the head unit?

you can get your code @ www.carradiocode.co.uk
for 33.50 if its one of the models listed you will nedd the remote comander tho.
