SOURCE: raypak 2100 digital heater give fault code eol

ILO or ROL. There is no EOL.

ROL is a switch inside the lower left corner of the heater. Press the red button. ILO is a lockout. Power down and power up.

SOURCE: Replacing PC Board on Raypak 2100 Model 185 - connector differs

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you, but please let me know what happens.

I am in the process of buying the new board (# 010253F, right?) It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm assuming I'll be in the same situation. BTW, I am replacing mine only because the LCD screen is totally blank. Everything else about it is ok.

Please let me know what you did. My email is [email protected]

Thanks in advance,
_Steve

SOURCE: Service light comes on our Raypak RP 2100 pool heater.

this usually indicates a high limit condition.you must first ascertain if you have a component failure or a true high tempature condition.your model has 2 limit controls and they are both located in side panel on water in/out header

SOURCE: last season raypak 2100 heater would light but

Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.

Along the manifold there will be several gas ports feeding gas into the burner tray tubes. The tubes are the narrow steel tubes that extend under the heater from the gas line. We use a piece of #12 solid wire and run it in and out of the tubes from under the manifold. Spiders like nesting in the tubes and their silk blocks the gas flow. Once the gas migrates over from further away from the pilot you get the 'whoosh' of ignition. As you clean the tubes and recheck the heater be sure you pay attention to the flame color. Anywhere you see orange flames above a tube you need to shut down and then clean the tube. Orange flame means poor combustion and needs to be fixed to prevent sooting.

SOURCE: Can't light my Raypak Pool Heater.

Often you can see the pilot if you use a small mirror. With the button on the gas valve pushed down you should get pilot. Once the pilot is lit it warms the TC(thermocouple) creating the static charge to open the gas valve on it's own. The TC is set in the pilot assembly. It will be a small tube like piece with the wires coming from it. Some times you can pull and replace it but I will usually get the whole pilot assembly and just replace that. It will probally be rusted and can be cloging the tiny orface on the pilot itself.
If you have a milivolt meter you can check the TC by pulling the wires that come from it at the gas valve and with the button on the gas valve pushed in and a good flame you should get 500-700 MV from the TC. This is 1/2 a volt+ so you will need a MV meter. But this will tell if your TC is bad or if your valve is bad.
Good luck.

The part number for the thermistor for your heater is 005299B, officially called the temperature sensor IID it is also refered to a temp sensor or temp sensor kit.
