I would use slip rings to tie existing cable to prop motor support shaft and mount transducer to motor housing. 'slip ring'--metal ring a little bigger than shaft with a nipple the size of the cable. If you have put power to the gps antenna then there is going to be a problem with your gps antenna. The Humminbird gps antenna gets it power from the unit. If you have done this you will need to contact our customer service group to get it resolved. There number is 800-633-1468.
