The Vertical output Stage of the TV is Faulty. Can be drysoldering joint in the leg of vertical output IC Or the vertical output ic is faulty.

1. Deflection yoke mismatch.
2. Shorted component/s at its horizontal oscillator section circuit or at its main power supply regulator [SMPS].

This is called a frame collapse. The Amp that drives the vertical sync has failed. This could be from excesive voltage on the mains, Lightning in the area, if you had or simply general failure. May also be dry joints( or loose connections) in the vertical amp or scancoil terminals. Good Luck,JUS004
