You gotta have a way to get signal to the tv . If you don't want a outside antenna use rabbit ears .After you hook them up hide them behind the tv then do a channel scan. If you don't pick up all the stations set them on top and scan again or get satillite or cable hd boxes.

you can play your PS2 via the RF in (ANT IN ) at the back of your TV .
For this you will first have to connect a AUX to RF converter jack device to ANT IN jack of TV.

Lets get to the fundamentals. Without any clicks at all, you probably don't have the 5V for the standby circuits. I don't recall the specifics about your model, but there should be a marking in the power supply area for a constant 5V line. Check that first. Without that the rest is useless. The 5V should be a simple 1/2wave rectifier circuit somewhere close to the AC entering the set.
