I have a roland camm 1 pro cutter and I can't get the machine to communicate with my computer and produce an image any longer.

we have no idea since have never had one

Material not aligned or wrong thickness... Blinking means something is not right. Try taking the material out and see if it changes, things like that, troubleshooting....

You should Buy a newer Model, Vista will not detect it. That is why Vista was a mistake... I like Linux Computers much better

connect the printer and the comp. and boot up....windows should recognize the new device.
did you add the plotter to "add printers" and its driver and to the correct port?
make sure your plotter is on and loaded and function key pressed.
also some cable manufacturers supply a driver...so download one if need be.
what software are you using? is the software cutter driver set to the correct printer and port?
(by default it never is)!!
