This may help:

Singer Sewing Machine Company Serial Numbers

Unless it is a particularly rare item in very nice and working condition, it will not command a remarkable price.

Does anyone know about 1952 Deluxe Sew-Rite Sewing machine?

Do a Google search on this; there is a very helpful bog. The problem is, that name was used for a number of small machines -- some metal, some plastic.

I have a singer 7422 sewing machine which is made in canada. I want to use it in india. So, what type of step down converter do i need and how much watt.

Hello Gargi Sarkar
The power supply voltage in India is between 220 V and 240 V. Your machine will be ruined if you plug it directly into the power supply in India. There are two options:
1. Use a step down adaptor to 'reduce' the 220 - 240 V to 110V which is what your machine can handle. This may be more practical and economical AND you can use the step-down adaptor for other Canadian electronics.
2. Your sewing machine motor can be changed for a 220 - 240 V motor, but often other parts will need to be changed as well. Also more costly.

ORDER BOBBIN CASE FOR LSS505 sINGER pIXIE pLUS

Take one of your bobbins to the local fabric store, Singer dealer, or sewing machine repair shop and compare with what they have in stock. Be sure the bobbins you buy are metal as your machine will not work with plastic bobbins.

Can Singer 7258 Stylist be used in a Country like India with 220 - 240 voltage? Is there any UK model for the same?

the machine comes in two versions european {220-240v}
or american {110v}

you need to use a transformer to give 110-240v
the current this machine uses is less than 3amps
so a 3amp 110-240v converter is easily found on ebay for $10

I have a singer Futura 2001 (1976) and the bobbin is not moving. when checking the parts underneath one of the Cogs(wheels) has crumpled so no longer turning..how do i find out what part i need to buy for...

I would go to an online site, such as www.sewingpartsonline.com and try to identify the part you are talking about. Once you have that information you can call Singer or just compare prices for the part you need and see if you can fix it yourself, they have been very helpful in the past for me,

I need to buy needles to fit a singer 211U157A

call Singer at 1-800-4singer and ask them. My Singer serger (which I am assuming yours is) takes a standard #14.. You can always take your needle with you to the store and compare, say like at a JoAnn's.
