The battery sometimes is old and without capacity but you problem more has to do with heat dissipation inside the ancre of the motor part , about 2 or 2.5 years old tool it must be it, the right time to repair replace also the brushes and the motor ancre of it (not the magnet field) is neccesary MUST be replace because when you only replace the brushes its 80% possible that your machine eats the brushes in a few weeks or a few months already again to the same short size .compare the sound listen to it how it sounds now at the moment and replace the motor and brushes and listen to the sound again, well you will hear the difference.
And listen to the machine that it sounds again good and makita parts of the motor is realy cheap and not to expensive compared to Panasonic or Milwaukee . absolut its 70% that this is the right option to get a succesfull repair. but the capacity of the batteries to test is also important in priority . thats the most expensive thing .
but i think the motor and brushes
Succes

Ryobi 18-Volt Impact Wrench P260 stop during use

Well I was having the same problem and I found out that the p108 and p109 cut power when to much of the battery power is being used, kind of dumb just to say the new batteries last 4x longer( its because u can't use all the torque of the impact). Fortunately I've found out that the older batteries don't cut power such as the p104 p103 and the black ryobi batteries without the gauge indicator work the 1/2 " impact without cutting power

My makita impact driver has lost power. it seems to be using the hammer much more and seems to be slipping. both the hammer and the andvil don't appear worn. the bushes are fine. what could be the problem?

This is more then likely caused by the plastic gears inside the drill wearing down. Makita may replace/repair under warranty depending on when you purchased the drill.

I have a BTD141 and it has been driving in screws perfectly. Am on 2nd battery charge. It has lost the hammer/impact feature. It only occurs if you push so hard you bend the screw. No long impacts. I...

could be the anvil stuck on the hammer mechanism, try locking a bit in a vise and impacting. also could be wear on the edges allowing the 2 to slide past each other

Bose Radio lost power after a low impact front accident. I rear ended someone with the Caddy. Low impact, no damage, but the radio lost power.

check your fuses. after that i would pull the radio out and make sure all the connections are good. If still nothing check with a tester and make sure your constant and accesory power are working
