Milwaukee 1/4 " impact driver has flashing red light

on the m12 impact, when you look in battery well or after opening 3 wires for to battery connectors, check the whites soldering and how many wires are actually soldered in the whites line ... just fixed buddy's who had exact issue and only 3 strands were soldered, stripped about a centimeter more and soldered back on and boom issue solved.

Dewalt battery charger won't charge

As you know, solid red on your charger means that the battery is fully charged and the BLINKING red light means the battery is charging. Unless the light is blinking irradically everything is working the way it is supposed to. If the light is blinking irradically, the battery may just be too hot or too cold to charge ( like when you are driving many lags and your battery dies) and in this case simply wait 15 minutes to charge. If you get a fast blinking light still, the problem probably is with the battery.

The chuck on the dewalt impact driver does not hold the bit holder in

If you go to dewaltservicenet.com you can enter your model number to see the parts breakdown. It can be tricky to get the retainer clip off and on but the rebuild of the bit holder is easy other than that. The spring and the steel ball are all that usually need to be repalced. Hope that helps.

Can't get broken hex bit

what you need to do is remove the quick release mechanism. there is a retaining ring DO NOT STRETCH then a small flat washer and spring lift the collar and there are usually 2 small steel balls. then using a magnet you should be able to remove bit. this works only if the shank on the bit is not twisted.

There is no power when clicking the trigger

try another battery. If it still doesn't work it's either the switch or the motor. You can take it apart and hook the motor directly to the battery. If it runs the switch is likely bad. If not the motor is bad. Since it doesn't have servicable brushes you replace the motor. Be careful when you take it apart because the switch is static sensitive and you could damage it! Do the work at a static sensitive station.

Drill bit does not stay gripped, chuckless drill

On this particular tool, you can't really tighten the bit in the anvil like a bit in a drill chuck. The bit is free floating but held in place by a small steel ball. The steel ball is held in place by the sleeve that slides up and down to release the ball so the bits can be changed. The sleeve is held down by a spring. Bits falling out can be caused by: Using bits without the groove in the bottom of them for the ball to catch in, dirt in the bottom of the anvil so the bit can't seat properly, the ball is missing or stuck, the spring is broke or binding, or the sleeve is bent or too dirty to slide up and down freely. Use compressed air to clean the anvil well and WD40 to clean and lube it further. If bits still fall out you'll have to take it apart and see if the ball, spring or sleeve need to be replaced.

My dewaalt impact driver all of a sudden runs with

sounds like the variable speed portion of the switch is faulty, the only resolution is to replace the switch. Go to dewaltservicenet.com and with your model number you can download a parts breakdown and also order the parts needed. MAKE sure to write down the wiring of the switch before removing, it is polarity sensitive.
