DVD Decoder I am unable to run the DVD on my Laptop, the ERROR message throwm is ....your media player doen't have a DVD Decoder.Please suggest to fix this prolem

The message you get means that there isn't any DVD software loaded on your laptop. You should have gotten something with the LG drive, that will work for you. Media player isn't enough, and often you can load the software, and still used media player, but the software decoder is the key to the whole process.

check if the hd is acceptable in your player
check if that settings is activated

download VLC media player

I believ you can find a decoder at filehippo.com Keep in mind that DVD burning software will work even if you don't have a burner, just delet the icon from the desk top for burning, your media play will use the decoder in it. The burning software has a decoder in order to read then burn.

You need to install a DVD decoder. Media player is horrible on it's own, but works great if you have other DVD decoding software. Try filehippo.com for the software.
