Want stainless steel front door for dishwasher

You would have to look up and see if that particular model was even available in Stainless when it was manufactured. If it was, then you might be able to change it over. You will probably have to change the plastic housing that holds the control panel as well if you are wanting it to blend in with the rest of the kitchen, I assume it is white as well. yes it is! Appliance Art has stainless panels if you have the type of dishwasher that lets you slide out old panel and insert new one. For the other types of dishwasher they sell stainless "rolls" that are applied over your current black. They were just on DIY network and HGTV. www.applianceart.com

yes indeed! Go to www.applianceart.com they can get you all kinds of options that include stainless steel. As for the panel with the buttons, they have a stainless foil roll. You could get the stainless panel and they faux stainless material and then your appliance would be completely stainless. Im sure you can call them and talk to them about this, I saw it on the Today Show.

I have two options for you to consider. One is to take your panel to any sheet metal fabricating shop and have them make a stainless steel version for you. The other is to get a spray can of stainless steel appliance paint and apply it. i have used the stainless steel paint on entire appliances with excellent results.

Your question is: You purchased a white Kenmore dishwasher and you are redoing your kitchen and all of your appliances are Kenmore stainless steel. You were wondering if the front panel was the only replacement or if you needed to order something else for the control panel.

It's your choise. If you like the control panel, keep it. If not, replace it when you replace the white panel.

The cost of changing all the front panels ...even if you do all the work yourself.. is probably not worth the effort. You can go to this GE website and research the parts you'd need to make the transition but in all probability.. it will be more trouble than its worth ( my opinion and eventually maybe yours).. Good luck..
