Water is leaking around base of "spout" and

If you have properly replaced the diverter assembly, there is either a problem with valve or debris was left in the valve from old diverter when new diverter was installed. Disassemble diverter by pulling spout back off. remove new diverter and check valve. Cup your hand over faucet and turn cold water handle on to attempt to flush any debris left behind. Try several times then reassemble. If this doesn't do the trick then replace. Get a quality filtering system and take care of your new faucet by making sure it's dry and polished after use. You won't be replacing your fixtures as often from calcium and corrosion.

I have a Kitchen Aid side by side refrigerator. Under the refrigerator there is a plastic water overflow tray. It collects water and the water becomes foul smelling. I have tried removing the tray to...

You should be able to remove the base grill by opening both doors to 90 degrees and pushing down while pulling outwards on the base grill to unlock the top clips, once the top is away roll the base grill toward you and up. From there you should be able to see the pan underneath which should slide out.

Clean it thoroughly and use a mixture of baking soda and water for final cleaning rinse and replace, I also mix some baking soda and water and pour in the bottom of the fridge to allow the mixture to cleanse the drip tube leading to the pan.

Installation is in reverse of removal

Whirlpool AWZ 8577 Tumble Dryer The water is not collecting in the top water container

You have a water pump in the base of the appliance this can sometimes fail or block. On the back of the dryer there should be a pipe just pull that off and blow down it, if there is a block this may well remove it. If not it's likely a pump failure.

Hope this helps

No water collecting, unit running

the collector base under the tubes just collects water and drips it through a hole into the water bucket. there must be a loose hose(if it has one) or the base collector or bucket has a crack, as they usually are plastic. also if the unit is sitting on a very uneven floor this will happen

Indesit condensair dryer

Hi,

I have had a similar problem, my wife tried drying clothes that were too wet, causing the machine to flood. Even though she emptied the tank, the empty water light was always on!!

What I did was take the electrical plug out and tip the machine to one side, you probably will find there will be a collection of water in the base, which will leak out. Once you think you emptied it, plug it back it back in and try it.

It worked for me!

Miele Model G 692 SCI PLUS does not start up. It drains water if you put water in the bottom. The Inlet/Drain light flashes. I have checked all the water filters and cleaned any very small particles...

The inlet/drain light also comes on when there is water in the base pan. There is a float switch that triggers this and over time if water has collected in the base pan the float switch can stick. Pull out the dishwasher and tilt it towards to back. If there is any water in the base pan it will come out. To be thorough, put the machine on it's back and remove the base pan (4 screws by the feet), the float switch is a circular plastic casing with a polystyrene float in it. It comes apart for servicing, the float can jam if there is any rubbish in the water.
