Boiler ignition sequence keeps failing. Takes about 3-4 tries before stepping from 1 (igniting) to 2 (lit). Only seems to happen when temps are severe (in the negs in MN the past couple of weeks). Sometimes it ignites, sometimes it doesn't!
Try adjusting the gas to air mixture and flow rate. I don't work well in very cold weather, either. I think that's fairly typical. Even a diesel engine is difficult to start in cold cold weather. Perhaps heating the room where the boiler is would help or at lest insulate the room well. Including stopping any drafts that may be causing a windy condition in or around the combustion chamber.
